Thank you, Ma'am, for oversharing

The other day while working at Younkers, I saw a customer whiz past wearing an oversized forest green tshit. This really isn't that unusual because many people in the Sioux go out in public wearing clothes that I think are more appropriate for painting their backyard shed in, but because deep down I love my hometown and the constant stream of comedy that it provides, I have accepted this sense of fashion as the norm.

But her shirt was a little different. Because not only was it oversized and forest green. It also had a witty saying on it. Or rather, a saying that I'm sure she found witty.

"Audiologists do it with frequency and intensity."

Ummm....what!??! How is that appropriate for anyone to be wearing, most especially a middle aged woman bopping through Younkers?  And of course, she was one of the absolute last people you wanted to imagine doing it with frequency and intensity.  The people who wear these sorts of things always are.

There was one final thing that bothered me though.  Is she really an audiologist?  Or is she just someone who thought the shirt was funny?  Do we even have audiologists in the Sioux?  If so, where do they work?  And do they all have shirts like this?  Should they even be trusted if this is the type of clothing they wear in public to advertise their profession?  We really need to be looking into this issue.  The safety of our ears could depend on it.
