Sometimes a day just needs a litte pickup

Don't you just love websites that are adorable and awesome and make you love life?  Me too.  Sometimes it's nice to read something on the internet that isn't trying to convince you to improve your love life or to tell you about how the economy is going to rupture and spew gross things onto all of our checking accounts.  That's why I like reading 1000 Awesome Things.

The website is truthfully nothing more than a listing of 1000 awesome things.  It's just that simple.  Some of my favorites include

There's just something so refreshing about reading a little blurb about something minor, and yet totally awesome.  Plus, it's great to read that someone else out there thinks the same things are awesome as you do.  Yea for like minded awesomeness!
