Birthdays really do pay off

Birthdays are fun, obviously.  But one of my favorite parts is getting things for free.  I love free things.  Love them.  I think it's because whenever I get something for free I feel like I'm winning.  But whatever the reasoning, I always get excited every year for when my birthday comes around just to see what birthday rewards companies will woo me with.

This year I got a bunch of really standard ones.  Body wash from Sephora, $5 off at The Limited, a free medium one topping pizza from Old Chicago.  All good things, but nothing overly impressive.  But then I got an email from Famous Dave's.  And I am happy to report that they provided me with the world's greatest free birthday gift.

Do I not look like the world's most happy free birthday reward recipient?

It's the Famous Dave's BBQ & Blues Festival 2006 CD Volume 1!!!!  Jealous much?  If there is anything that every single patron of Famous Dave's desires, it is a CD, recorded LIVE I might add, of all the greatest bluesy, BBQ smothered restaurant music ever created.  And I get to own a copy.  FOR FREE.  This just makes growing older so worth it.
