I definitely did not see this coming

I am currently taking a music appreciation class where I read about music through the ages, listen to pieces, and then have to discuss my thoughts and feelings about the music.  It's really not so bad and I've actually learned things, so for the most part I'm enjoying the class.  But sometimes it surprises me.

Recently we learned about Beethoven and his crazy life.  We also listened to Beethoven's 5th Symphony.  His 5th Symphony is one of his most famous pieces and you've probably heard it on TV commercials and in children's toys.  Yea, it's a big deal. But little did I know how big of a deal it really is.

While looking up information on the piece to share in our class discussion, I came upon this beauty of a video.

Sorry that it's just a link instead of being embedded.  I couldn't find a video to display here on the page.

But really, let's talk about this.  Did you expect a Japanese song version of Beethoven's 5th Symphony?!!?  I most definitely did not.  The page explains that the words they're using actually deal with breakfast, and it's something like a family trying to decide what to eat and then going around in circles until they talk so long that it's time for lunch.  Hilarious.  I can't get over this idea.  And the visuals, absolutely amazing.  I like when the girls are dancing in front of the weird backdrop.  It makes no sense!  I also like the crazy wig that the conductor is wearing.  It looks like a Halloween party girl wig.  I love that a group of people halfway around the world actually took the time to make this.  It brings joy to my life that something so outrageous would be created just to make people laugh a little bit.
