My Danyang Family

Usually I don't write things on this blog that are sappy and emotional because I don't think that's what people want to read.  It's also not what I usually want to write.  And since no one pays me to write this blog I just do what I want.  Bold!

But today I wanted to tell you about my Danyang family.  These people are super special to me and have made my short time here in Korea wonderful, exciting, happy, thrilling, and hilarious.  They helped me learn how to use the toilets.  They helped me learn how to buy laundry detergent and a hair straightener.  They go to the gym with me.  They listen to my rants about my coworkers.  They teach me how to illegally download material on the internet.  They help me learn Korean.  They eat with me when all I want is a taste of Western food.  They watch movies with me.  They share holidays with me.  And they have helped me to create some really great memories.

So if you ever wonder if I am sad and lonely and missing my American family, the answer is yes.  But it's never so so bad that I want to come home.  Because I have found great people here who I am excited to know for the rest of my life.  Like I tell them, they will never be rid of me.

Family Christmas Love!
