Anyways, I'm posting this video they made of a school field trip they took. All of the first and second year students at the high school (explanation of how high school works in Korea to come) are in a club. Each club went on a field trip for 3 days two weeks ago and while I was very lonely without them, I'm glad they all had a fun time. The students themselves planned and executed the trip and I think they were very proud of themselves for taking on such an adult task. Actually, I know they were because they told me about it many times. So please, enjoy their video, up their view count, and make these precious little Korean kids feel good about rocking at trip planning and video editing. Enjoy!
I'm livin' the dream in Siouxland (Edit to read: Korea) and have chosen to share my glory with the masses

My students are the cutest
I know people don't usually describe high school students as cute, but mine really are. Ahh! Ok, I know you still don't agree with me and that's fine. But I really do enjoy my students and that's a good thing, right?

Wow! I am very impressed that the students planned their whole trip. It looked like they had a lot of fun. The video was fun to watch and I got a kick out of the Gossip Girl quotes! Mickie B
ReplyDeleteNot sure I followed the gossip girl...but that middle song is going to be stuck in my head for days.
ReplyDeleteWho is Gossip Girl? And who did the English translations? They were right on.

Gossip Girl is a show that was (maybe is?) on the CW in the US. I never watched it but I think maybe it was popular with teenagers. It's mildly popular here in Korea. I'm not sure who exactly the Gossip Girl is but I think the whole show is just about an all-seeing "gossip girl" who reports about rich kids and their antics.
DeleteThe English translations were done by a Korean student! His English is really good and he is the most fluent person in the school.
