Canadian CD? I want to listen to this

The other day while looking for Google images of American money, I stumbled across this gem.


21 Tracks from Canada with Love - not helping Canada's case for legitimacy

What is this thing?  Why do these women think that marketing themselves as loose change is a wise career move?  And who actually bought this CD?  Is it good?  I genuinely am curious to listen to it.
